– with the proliferation of wireless networks over the past 3 years, it
is now more important than ever to ensure corporate WiFi
infrastructures are correctly deployed. To simply put an encryption key
on a wireless device might be sufficient in a domestic environment, but
for the corporate environment this is not enough. Quite often these
keys are shared with all users in an organisation which then offers no
audit trail and potential compromise should only one employee leave the
business. Our WiFi infrastructures integrate directly into your Active
Directory systems which mean each user is authenticated onto the
wireless network using their own credentials. Centralised control and
auditing ensure the risk of compromise is adequately mitigated.
• Web Browsing Control
– to ensure your staff do not spend time on non work-related websites
such as Facebook, Twitter etc., we can provide systems that manage this
access. For instance you may have a policy that blocks all ‘Social
Networking’ websites, or you may only allow limited access to these
sites during lunchtime. Our systems are able to offer granular policies
which control exactly the way you want your staff to use the Internet.
We can also ensure that web browsing during lunch does not impact on
the business’ bandwidth requirements through prioritising traffic.
• Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam
– we support all major AV/AS vendors for installation within your
corporate network. We are also able to offer gateway scanning (stopping
inappropriate e-mails before they enter your network) and also managed
service scanning (stopping inappropriate e-mails before they enter your
Internet connection). This latter facility is especially useful in the
Middle East where Internet connectivity can be charged by data volumes.
• Application Programming
– should you need a simple database or a complex MRP solution, we are
able to offer application programming services to support this.

and the UK can address your needs – and the cost needn’t be as high as
you would imagine.
